Giveaway - Bloody Jack by LA Meyer

I know no one else is paying attention, but last week's review of Bloody Jack by L.A. Meyer was my 25th review! YAY me! Check out the book review. This is a very fun book with great characters and lots of adventure.

In honor of this milestone, I'm having my first giveaway. I'm putting my gently read copy of Bloody Jack up for grabs.

Description: Life as a ship's boy aboard HMS Dolphin is a dream come true for Jacky Faber. Gone are the days of scavenging for food and fighting for survival on the streets of eighteenth-century London. Instead, Jacky is becoming a skilled and respected sailor as the crew pursues pirates on the high seas. There's only one problem: Jacky is a girl. And she must use every bit of her spirit, wit, and courage to keep the crew from discovering her secret.

EDIT MAY 12 -CONTEST CLOSED

Thanks everyone for entering!

Great blog and great contest too! I've heard quite a few good things about these books so I would love to be entered for it :)

Sorry, I don't get the joke but I believe I would like to be a pirate, Captain Jenny Silver!

I don't think Paperback Swap will ever cough up this book, so I'd love to be entered! I just became a follower (before I read about the giveaway even). I'd much rather be a pirate, since I already belong to an online group called the GOFC (Gang of Female Cutthroats). We all wear designer eyepatches, and the flagship of our pirate fleet is the PMS Hellborn Strumpet. ;)

I'd be the pirate hunter. Even when playing games, I have to be a "good" character. And I'm all about fairness, and let's face it, pirates aren't fair in their dealings!

While I would love to say I'd be the pirate, I'm probably more likely a Pirate Hunter. Sigh.

I'd love a chance to win this one. It sounds great. I think I would be a better hunter because I tend to follow the rules. I'd be no good at being the bad guy. I am now a follower. And I blogged about it here:

Oh, I'd like to be entered. If I had to choose, I'd probably be a pirate hunter, only because I think I have a bit more "honor" in my system than pirates tend to (that's the way the media portrays them, anyway). Yeah, that means I may not use my powers for awesome, but so be it.

I also blogged about this here: http://wisb.blogspot.com/2009/04/sff-links-another-pre-may-batch.html

My email is arconna @ yahoo dot com.

Thanks muchly!

Though I'm sure it'd be loads of fun being a pirate, especially ones who sing a la The Pirates of Penzance, I'd probably be better at being a pirate hunter. :)

First, congrats on the 25 reviews.
As much as I would love to be thought of as a fiesty pirate. I like to be clean too much to actually be one. In the long run, my goodness will always win. :) I am really beyond too good to be true. So sad. :)

Thanks so much for the giveaway!

Congrats on your twenty-fifth review! I've love to enter the contest. Personally, I've always thought I'd make a wicked awesome pirate, but I would use my powers for good, not evil. I'd be like the Robin Hood of pirates; I'd rob from the rich and give a whole bunch of it to the poor. (Not all of it, of course. I'd need to pay my crew, keep my ship afloat and buy fancy pirate clothes).

I've just popped you into my feed reader, too.
