I went to the library with the best intentions of just dropping off my books and leaving, the better to make a dent in my to-read pile this week, but I saw a few things I just couldn't resist. It's a sickness. Pity me.
Wake by Lisa McMann
The Abhorsen Chronicles by Garth Nix (all three in one volume- it's MASSIVE)
The School of Essential Ingredients by Erica Bauermeister

Ruby Slippers sounds good. You got some good books this week in the mail. Enjoy. Mine will be up on Monday.
Wake was great. And I want to read several other of those.
Oh, I want to read Wake so much!
And I can't pity you but I can empathize. I have that same illness!

You've got some good reading ahead of you!
Looks like you got some great books! I really want to read The Lost Hours and The School of Essential Ingredients in particular. Happy reading!
Are you going to have time to do much else this week? Lol! Enjoy, you got a great bunch of books this week.
It looks like you had a great mail day. I love the cover on The Lost Hours. Sometimes I read books based just on the cover (although that usually turns out to be a mistake).
I understand what you mean about the book sickness: I currently have 220 books in my regular to-read stack, and 40 in my library to-read stack. I can't seem to help it, it's a force beyond my control.
Your mailbox was filled with lots of goodies! :) Here's my Mailbox! ~ Wendi
