I saw this posted by Rebecca at Lost in Books and I wanted to play too!

1. What author do you own the most books by?
JD Robb, but more by accident than design.

2. What book do you own the most copies of?
I guess I have a few Bibles kicking around, but usually if I have more than one copy of a book, I give it away.

A little bit, but I mentally rephrased them and it made me feel calmer.

4. What fictional character are you secretly in love with?
Simon from City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.

5. What book have you read the most times in your life?
It's probably a tie between Twilight and Pride and Prejudice.

I'll make this a three way tie with The Hunger Games, Graceling, and Water for Elephants.

9. If you could force everyone you know to read one book, what would it be?
The Hunger Games. I AM forcing everyone I know to read it. One by one, they will all succumb to my evil plan... and persistent nagging.

The Maximum Ride series by James Patterson

11. What is the most difficult book you’ve ever read?

12. What is your favorite book?
I could never narrow it down to just one.

13. Play?
Much Ado About Nothing. I love the comedies.

14. Poem?
I'm really not a big poetry fan. I had to memorize The Highwayman in school, though, and I enjoyed it.

15. Essay?
Can't think of one.

16. Who is the most overrated writer alive today?
Stephen King

17. What is your desert island book?
If ever this situation comes up, I am going to cheat by bringing a Kindle filled with books. So there!

18. And . . . what are you reading right now?
The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong
City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
Katka by Stephen Meier

So, what are your answers?

LOL over your desert island answer. Before I travel again, I'm getting a Kindle and filling it with books. Then I'm going to pack a solar powered charger for it. Just in case we are stranded for an extended time :-).

I also saw this at Lost In Books. My answers are at http://imbookingit.wordpress.com/2009/06/02/fun-book-meme/

I think The Maximum Series would be a great movie, too. I just wish Frannie and Kit from When the Wind Blows and The Lake House were in the Maximum Series. I liked those characters a lot. I also agree that King is overrated. He is a very good author, but I don't know that he is as fabulous as all that.

The highwayman came riding up to the old in door.

I remember one other part, Arielle.

A stable wicket creaked
Where Tim the olster listened
His face was white and peaked
His eyes were hollows of madness
His hair like moldy hay
But he loved the landlord's daughter..
Dumb as a dog he listened,
And he heard the robber say-

Why I remember that part, I dont' know, but it's stuck with me.
