So we're now a few weeks into the fall TV season. I've had a little time to sort out which shows I'll be following and which ones will have to fall by the wayside. I was initially pretty excited about the new season of House, but it hasn't held my attention like I hoped. As I'm making a list of the shows I'm excited about, I'm suddenly worried that I might be shallower than I thought I was. Many of these shows seem to feature significant guy candy as one of the major draws.
Grey's Anatomy. I got hooked on this show after tuning in just in time to see Meredith build her house of candles at the end of Season 4. It was cheesy, I get that; I still loved it. I'm not sure what's going on this season, with the Chief going crazy and all the merger nonsense. And did Izzy really leave this week? But I'm willing to keep watching as long as I can look at Derek Shepard and Mark Sloan.
Glee. OK, so the plot lines are a little, well, smutty. And I want to smack Mr. Shuster's wife and Coach Sue in the face every time they walk onscreen. But the music is FANTASTIC! I am completely addicted to the cast recordings I end up downloading after every episode. If you haven't yet tuned in to this chronicle of a high school glee club (it's nothing like High School Musical... far more witty), you should give it a shot.
The Mentalist. Not your usual police procedural. This one features Simon Baker as Patrick Jane, a man who's so skilled at reading people's body language and other cues that his conclusions have a Sherlock Holmes-like accuracy. He's also self-centered, charming and a bit of a coward. But highly entertaining. When the guy smiles, I always find myself smiling back at the stinking TV. So embarrassing. Also of interest:
Three Rivers. I'm not actually watching this one. I watched the pilot and it just didn't hold my interest. But I wish I was watching it because Alex O'Loughlin is HOT. I used to watch Moonlight, the vampire detective show he starred in that CBS cancelled after half a season. I love him. I'll probably have to give Three Rivers another shot. So, what shows are you watching this fall?

Glee owns my soul. Haha seriously though, it is so awesome. I love Sue.
Never heard of Three Rivers but since it has Alex in it I might have to find it online..lol
I love the mentalist but they changed the time on me and now its on when I am in bed. (I get up at 3:30am so I am a early bed person)
I have to watch Castle, so I get it online. I love that show it reminds me so much of a male version of Murder She Wrote..lol
Okay so I got a bit hooked on Vampire Diaries another one I have to catch online because I don't get CW.
NCIS is a constant favorite, though I am not much into the new one NCIS:Los Angeles.
Thats about it for what I watch on TV..I am on the computer more than watching tv..lol.
I keep watching Glee, but I am not even sure that I like it! I do love the music, though. I don't even know anymore.
I also watch House and NCIS, but not with a lot of regularity lately. I usually end up buying it after the fact on DVD.
Oh I watch way too much stuff on TV, especially with a dvr. I love three rivers. I've watched Grey's since the beginning but I think this will be my last season. I just feel myself losing interest. Survivor is a new one for me and I oddly find myself hooked I have no clue why. I love Vampire Diaries. I think it's my fave new show of the season. Oh and Castle too. lol see I watch too much tv. Fall tv shows cut into my reading time heh.

L O V E
G L E E!!!
So good. And yes, with the smacking.
I'm hooked on Grey's Anatomy, too. My Mom is a big fan of the Mentalist, and I'm hearing great things about Glee but haven't seen it myself yet. Our new show is Flashforward - very cool concept and lots of mysteries and questions, much like our other favorite, Lost!
Sue
OMG
Seriously
*high five*
You and I are eye-to-eye on Alex.
I'm not interested in his new show but I LOVE him.
I get excited every single time I see a commercial for his new show.
Man...I still miss Moonlight.
@Michelle - Sue is delightfully obnoxious.
@ladystorm - I'm afraid to start watching Vampire Diaries in case I really like it. I don't have enough time! I'm with you on the new NCIS. Thumbs down.
@Kailana - I know how you feel about Glee. I thought this week's episode was a good one, though. I like that you hardly had to see the guidence counsellor at all.
@Zia - A couple of people have mentioned Castle now. I have never watched it, but may have to check it out.
@Misty - high five!
@Sue -Flashforward does look like a good one, but I have a hard time watching shows that you can't miss an episode. Lost is like that too.
@Juju - I was SO SAD when they cancelled Moonlight. That and V.Mars are two shows that should never ever have been cancelled.
I love Grey's Anatomy, it is the best show ever. :)
And the Mentalist... Patrick Jane makes me smile too.
The only one of these I follow is Grey's Anatomy...and this season is kinda crazy, seems like everyone is falling apart. But oh well, I still love it.
I've actually never heard of the other shows before.
I would just like to take some time out thank the posters for doing what you do and make this community great im a long time reader and first time poster so i just wanted to say thanks.
