Her advice is awesome and practical and you should go read it right now. Plagiarism: It's Not Just the Bots. Plagiarism: It's Happened, Now What? As far as I know, I have never been plagiarized, but it's also not something I keep a close watch for (this is about to change). I just don't get it. Why would you rip off someone else's work instead of presenting your own. These people are missing the entire point. I even do my best to avoid reading reviews of a book I'll be writing about in the near future, just in case I accidentally get a phrase stuck in my head and present it as my own.
